Welcome to Port Talbot Camera Club

You don't have to be an 'Expert Photographer' to be welcomed as a member of Port Talbot Camera Club. All you need is an interest in photography.

Port Talbot Camera Club members work mainly in digital, though we have one or two very capable film workers. Our members are always willing to give help and guidance and we run our own practical sessions catering for all levels of ability. Throughout the year, we invite a number of guest speakers to talk on a range of subjects including photo-journalism, macro photography, fashion photography and on the speakers own particular photographic journeys. on "in-club nights" we look at how to improve our photography skills, how to bring out the best in our photographs using Lightroom and Photoshop, and how best to present our work for competition and exhibition.

The highlights of our year are the Annual photographic Exhibition at the Swansea Grand Theatre which is open to the public and also includes an exhibition of our International Salon award winners, and our own end of year competition culminating in the Photographer of the Year award.
